Once you have booked a full nutrition consultation and have received your written personalised plan, you may wish to have a follow up consultation for a nutrition review. Alternatively, you might want an additional written nutrition plan for a specific event or lifestyle goal.

  • Training nutrition: timing of food intake, body composition, recovery, hydration, supplements and building towards your event. Solid training nutrition is vital to optimising adaptation and recovery.
  • Competition and Performance nutrition: race schedule planning, hydration, supplements, food timing and travel & environmental considerations. This plan will cover all bases to ensure you have a strategy in place allowing you to reach your full potential on race day.
  • General lifestyle follow up: Goal reviewing, general health, energy support and body composition considerations.

For example, your initial full consultation may have been for a training nutrition plan. Your second follow up consultation might be to add a nutrition plan for race day. Or, you may have received a nutrition plan for your general health & lifestyle, but have decided to train for event and require a training nutrition plan.

Who will my consultation be with?

Conrad Goodhew BAppSc University of Otago is a degree qualified Sports & Exercise Nutritionist who has worked with young rugby players, track and field athletes, figure competitors, endurance triathletes and marathon runners, in addition to the Hurricanes Super Rugby team. Conrad has played a number of different sports at both provincial and international representative level, giving him invaluable and practical experience he is able to pass on to his clients. Conrad has also worked with a range of food related illnesses. 

Marewa Sutherland BAppSc University of Otago (PURE Sports Nutrition co-founder) is a degree qualified Sports & Exercise Nutritionist and former elite road cyclist and Rower. Marewa has a number of years experience providing private nutrition consultations to elite & recreational athletes on both sports specific nutrition and general health & wellness nutrition. Her comprehensive sporting background sets her up to provide practical and achievable advice to her clients. 

A Nutrition Follow-up Consultation (30mins) may only be booked if you have previously booked & completed an initial Full Nutrition Consultation (45mins).
